Universal Pictures (also known as Universal Studios or just simply Universal) is an American film production and distribution company. Headquartered in Universal City, California. It is the film studio arm of NBCUniversal, a subsidiary of Comcast. It is part of the Big Five in Hollywood.
Universal distributed the 1990 animated feature-length Jetsons movie. Despite The Jetsons and most of the other Hanna-Barbera franchises currently by Warner Bros. because of the Turner-Warner merger on October 10, 1996, Universal still currently has the rights to the 1990 Jetsons movie along with the two live-action Flintstones movies.
