Melissa is the niece of George and Jane Jetson, as well as cousin towards Elroy and Judy Jetson. She is a typical teenage girl. Originally, she was that of the more nerdy kind, but, at one point over time, she somewhat reinvented herself as a more eccentric tomboy-ish girl with a new lease on life in the form of being a biker and being in a biker gang, known as "The Crabby Nebulas"

However, she eventually left that gang.

Personality-Wise, She is very energetic and vivacious, but can also be pessimistic at times, and she loves speed.
