Nimbus the Great is a character in The Jetsons. He was voiced by Howard Morris.
About Nimbus[]
Nimbus the Great is a television superhero admired by many children, including Elroy Jetson and Willy Lightyear. His show is sponsored by Moonies cereal, which ran a contest for a fan to win a home visit from the star. The current actor is the fifth Nimbus on the program in the last two years. Elroy wins the contest, but the actor catches a cold and wants to cancel the visit. After George Jetson confronts him, he offers George a costume to pretend he is Nimbus. Later, he is worried that George might contact his sponsor, and afraid of losing his job, he dons his costume and visits Elroy anyway.
