Astro is the pet of [[Elroy Jetson]], and [[George Jetson|George's]] self-appointed best friend. Astro has a flair for dramatics and is not ashamed to cry for attention. His main form of exercise comes from walking the floating treadmill outside of the Jetsons' house and showering George with affection whenever possible.

Astro was once the dog of the millionaire J.P. Gottrockets, who had originally named him Tralfez. Astro openly despised his lavish lifestyle, and quickly abandoned it after discovering Elroy playing in a park. Even after he was retrived by Gottrockets, Astro longed for his simpler life with the Jetsons, and was eventually returned to them.

Astro is a character in The Jetsons. He was voiced by Don Messick.

About Astro

Astro is the pet of Elroy Jetson, and George's self-appointed best friend. Astro has a flair for dramatics and is not ashamed to cry for attention. His main form of exercise comes from walking the floating treadmill outside of the Jetsons' house and showering George with affection whenever possible.

Astro was once the dog of the millionaire J.P. Gottrockets, who had originally named him Tralfez. Astro openly despised his lavish lifestyle, and quickly abandoned it after discovering Elroy playing in a park. Even after he was retrived by Gottrockets, Astro longed for his simpler life with the Jetsons, and was eventually returned to them.
